EA CEO John Riccitiello resigns Tuesday, 19.03.2013
Electronic ArtsElectronic Arts is struggling with sales figures - the forthcoming quarterly results are likely to fall short of expectations and the company couldn't keep up with the internal operating plan they set one year ago. As a result EA's CEO John Riccitiello takes full responsibility and will resign on March 30th, 2013.

In the meantime, until a new CEO is found, Larry Probst Larry Probst will be stepping in as Executive Chairman. Probst already was CEO at EA for 16 years, until he handed his position over to Riccitiello in 2007.
