Criterion working on "Unannounced Racing Title" for 2013

This is how rumours start: after you could read of an "Unannounced Racing Title" at Criterion, several onlinemagazines report about a possiblie upcoming Need for Speed for 2013, but also a successor for the Burnout Franchise isn't off the table.

To be concrete, Pete Panton, Lead Cinematic Artist posted on his

LinkedIn profile, to be working on an "Unannounced Racing Title" for EA Games 2013. He previously worked on Need for Speed Most Wanted in 2012.
His colleague, Lead Artist

Lee Sullivan is working on an "Unannounced project at Criterion Games" since 2011.

It's still open, whether this could be a new Need for Speed, Burnout or even something completely different. A new NFS is also possible to come from the new swedish development studio EA Gothenburg. (see

Not Criterion again!!!

I will just simply copy-paste my review on Metacritic to show my pov about their last year's mockery on MW.
"I always hated trolling, and this game is nothing but trolling from Criterion... 1) Most Wanted? Seriously??? Do they ever played MW by BlackBox? Obviously not, otherwise the game would not be such facepalm... 2) NFS??? Seriously? I see nothing but very bad replica of Burnout: Paradise City... 3) Graphics sucks on HD screens as NFS:HP2010 earlier, seems that Criterion is still has no arms to develop smth worthful
4) Controls - fuuuuuuuu!!!!
This is the the 1st game I give such a low score. The way not to go Criterion... But better - get your arms off NFS title, go develop next BRNT..."
PS. user score for Criterion's MW is 4.4, and The RUN has 5.4 - it shows that Criterion is the one who should not develop any NFS games anymore.
