 Since the last few days the final patch 242 for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is also available at the official Need for Speed website.
So the rumour that the patch may also be a beta version, has been refuted. But I think another patch we cannot expect. :(

| NFS 6: 1 new Track |

 Today there is a new track for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 called "Winter Ville Snowland". This track is an addition to the well done track Snowland by Grizzly. Artem added a nice new sky to the track, which looks really great.

| NFS 6: 8 new Addon-Cars |

 Today there is another update of 8 new Addon-Cars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Ernesto made Ferrari with a glass roof (picture), Sascha K. made some cars with new shades and new performance, and Cobra 2002 made some beautiful cars with new textures.
Expect more soon.

| NFS 6: 242 Patch not Final? |

The recently released patch for for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, which upgrades the game to the version 242 must not be the final patch. At the moment will there is no official download link on the websites of Electronic Arts. After EA Germany the patch may be also only a beta version:
"Sometimes it is the case, that the developers may take a patch for stable enough, but it has not passed the quality checks yet. So they put it at the community's disposal. Because we do not publish any code which has not been tested extensively, such interceptions may can happen.
In my opinion I would only install a beta patch, if I got aggravating problems, otherwise I would wait for the final version. Unfortunately I cannot foresee when this will happen..."

So far so good...maybe we'll get a real final patch in the end, which will work best. Let's hope the best.

| NFS 6: 5 new Addon-Cars |

 After a long pause because of the database there is a new update. First I updated the Tracks-Section and now I added 5 new Addon-Cars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. You can find them as always in the Cars-Section. :)

| NFS 6: Patch 242 Final |

About 2 months ago, EA released a Beta Patch, which should solve the problems with Force Feedback Wheels in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Today there appears a supposed final version of the patch. It seems to work, but I could not find anything from the official side (Electronic Arts).

| NFS 6: 7 new Tracks |

 Today I added 7 new tracks for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. The 3D mesh cannot be changed, but most of them now have fresher and brighter textures, so that they are at least better than the original track.
My personal number one is still Snowlands. :)

 Today I uploaded a new track for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. it is not the first one, but other may will follow. It has really great textures, the track Parkands is now full of snow.
The track is from the german site T-Racing.

| NFS 5: Stat Reset |

 The statistics (records and lap times) on EA Racing are going to be reset on Friday, January 13th 2003.
The Stat Reset will be made every 6 months. The servers will be down for about an hour, but longer it should take.
