| MCO: Motor City Online suspended |

 Electronic Arts announced today, that the online racing gameMotor City Online will be discontinued on August 28th 2003. The servers will be turned off at 12:01 GMT. As an alternative Electronic Arts already offered the subscribers a free trial of Ultima Online or The Sims Online.
The reason for this step, are the decreasing sales of Motor City Online. It is quite a lot of effort and outlay needed, to run MCO (servers, updates), and the shrinking of the community meant the end of MCO. But now the developers can go and work on other games.

| NFS 6: Stat Recorder - A Sac |

 The tool A Sac for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is now quite finished, and the main program runs quite stable. At the moment some bugs have to be found, but you can already download the tool. At Need for Better Speed they created a website, where the you can upload with the tool your new records in NFS HP 2. So we can build up our own EA Racing. ;-)

 Dejan Ilic, the brother of Vladimir Ilic has created a new wallpaper of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. You may remember Vladimir, because he made the picture "Ferrari vs. Lamborghini". The new picture by his brother is also a great work, and it shows a Lamborghini and a Porsche 911, pursued by the police. The background is a beautiful landscape of rocks.

| NFS 6: First converted Ferrari |

 Recently Arushan announced to be able to create cars "from scratch". Today there has been published a preview of the first converted car to Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. It is the Ferrari Enzo by KV12Supercharged and at the moment arushan is repairing some bugs, before it could be released. But the picture looks quite promising.

The recent days it is going round in the Editing section of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. So Nye is working on a program which displays and saves the statistics of a race in NFS Hot Pursuit 2. This should be quite interesting, because a detailed raceinfo is missing in the game itself.
At the moment he is still working on the tool, but even the now published version looks really promising.

| NFS 6: File format cracked! |

 Breaking News: Arushan could create the first car "from scratch" for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2! No more moving polygones or whatever. Take a look at the picture, and this little cigarette box proves that everything is possible. :)
He used the tools OIFTool and OEdit, and a OIF Filter for the ZModeler.
When a stable version of the called tools will be released is not sure yet. We hope soon. :)

The downloads of the cars and tracks are now repaired and should work. The tools, hacks and all similar will take more time, because they are not included in the script and this has to be done manually. We apologize for any inconvinience.
