| NFSU2: Report from the Launch Event |

 The onlinemagazine IGN wrote a nice report about the Need for Speed Underground 2 Launch Event, which took place on October 25th in Irwindale, California. The event had been combined with a drift event of Formula D, which was a competition with the 16 best Formula D drivers for a pot of either $10,000 or a Nismo-tuned 2004 Nissan 350Z.
As s bonus IGN also made an interview with Brooke Burke, the model starring in NFS Underground 2.

| NFSU2: Soundtracks now official | Releasedate |

We could present you the soundtracklist of Need for Speed Underground 2 already about 2 weeks ago, but today Electronic Arts officially announced the music titles which will be played in the game. Snoop Dogg's remix of The Doors' legendary rock song 'Riders On The Storm' will be available exclusively in Need for Speed Underground 2!
"This is one of the most exciting announcements in music this summer. Bringing together the haunting vocals of Jim Morrison and the timeless music of The Doors with the cool energy of Snoop Dogg is revolutionary. And if you want to hear the song ... forget radio, forget CDs -- it's ONLY in the game," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Audio at EA.

Interestingly Electronic Arts announced in the press release, that the releasedate of the game will be November 15th, so one day earlier than it was planned (in North America)! In Europe the releasedate might will stay November, 18th.
(A small note: Amazon.com (USA) dates the releasedate of NFS Underground 2 with November 8th and 9th (PC). But according to the today's press release, this information should be wrong.)

| NFSU2: Demo released! (Update) |

Finally the demoversion of Need for Speed Underground 2 has been released!
At the moment the download is only possible from the EA Games FTP server, but we hope we can give you some faster mirrors later.
The demo contains the following:
Free Roam (Beacon Hill)

Circuit (one event - accessible in world)
Downhill Drift (one event - accessible in world)
