Especially the Collector's Edition Upgrade looks quite interesting:
Take your experience to the next level with the Need for Speed Undercover Collector’s Edition. This digital upgrade includes five brand new cars available for use in career mode (2006 Koeniggsigg CCX, 2006 Dodge Challenger Concept, 2007 Porsche Cayman S, 2007 BMW Z4 M, 2007 Mercedes SL 65 AMG) plus twelve new circuit, sprint and checkpoint track configurations. Also included are specially tuned versions of ten existing cars which are available in quick race & online modes, plus over 40 exclusive vinyls for adding a unique visual style to any of your cars. Visit needforspeed.com for screenshots and more details.
Currently there is no information about the availability in the EU PSN Store, but it's likely that it's similar to the US updates. You can also expect the updates to be available at the Xbox Marketplace.
Update:
Additionally a note for you: all these items (except the Collector's Edition) can be unlocked without purchase by progressing through Career, so they are just for the impatient, who don't want to wait until they played through the career. Only the Collector's Edition contains really new content.

NFS UC: iPhone Infos and Screenshots |
Thursday, 13.11.2008 |
Need for Speed Undercover isn't only going to be released on the major platforms - also an iPhone version is in development! In December 2008 owners of an iPhone or iPod Touch will be able to race NFS Undercover.
The first Screenshots of the iPhone version of the game look quite promising.
Regarding the features the little brother of NFS Undercover doesn't have to hide: 30 licensed cars are available in this mobile version, including the Porsche Cayman S, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford Mustang and Lotus Elise.
Tuning options like suspension, tires and Body Paint are available as well. There are 8 race modes, including Highway Battle, Sprint and Cop Takeout.
You steer on the iPhone by tilting it left or right. Acceleration works the same way by tipping the device forward. NOS, car selection and customization works by using the touchscreen.
You can find some pictures of the iPhone version of NFS Undercover in our screenshots-section. For comparing, we also uploaded three pictures of the "regular" mobile version of the game. ;)

NFS UC: EA integrates D-BOX Motion Code in PC-Version |
Wednesday, 12.11.2008 |
D-BOX announced today it concluded a licensing agreement with EA Black Box, which allows EA to integrate the D-BOX Motion Code technology in the upcoming PC version of Need for Speed Undercover (PC).
D-BOX manufactures interactive TV- and gaming systems, which deliver direct response of the game to the player. For example you sit in a racing chair, have steering wheel and pedals in front of you and you're driving through the city of Need for Speed Undercover. The chair forwards interactively the actions from the game to the player - you should feel like being "in the game":
Imagine playing the most awesome racing games, feeling the bumps of the terrain, the G forces in the bends, the engine revving and vibrating in full throttle, the jolts of shifting gears, drifting the Apex, slipping and skidding out of bends, crashing..._Intense.
In order to function D-BOX Motion Code technology has to be integrated in the game. You can watch a video of the D-BOX Gaming System in action here:
