 The onlinemagazine Gamerzines could get their hands on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and gives in a new article some impressions of the game's career mode.
Excerpt:
Rather than simple races and chases, there are multiple types of race events to take part in too, including Hot Pursuits, Races and Time Trials for the Racers, and Hot Pursuits, Interceptors and Rapid Responses for the Cops, each of which well go into much greater detail in in a later post. Your final position will also earn you a bronze, silver or gold medal, with the better medals offering more bounty.
So what about the open world? Well you can choose to dive straight into Freedrive at any point while on the event screen, though you wont be able to earn bounty, damage your car or be engaged in pursuits while in this mode. Ultimately, its only useful for taking Dreamshots, beauty photos that can be shared with friends on the Autolog wall, or for taking a break from the intense chases.

| NFS Hot Pursuit: Lamborghini Gallardo Polizia |

We have new screenshots of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, showing a Lamborghini Gallardo cop car. Although, you might notice this isn't a typical american cop from "Seacrest County" - it has the typical blue-white design of the italian "Polizia"!
It's not too far-fetched, as two Lamborghini Gallardos werde donated to the Italian police by the company Lamborghini:
It's not known yet, if the italian Gallardo is only in the italian version of NFS Hot Pursuit, neither we have more information whether there there will be more "local" police cars or not.
