 Xbox360Achievements published a list of the achievements in Shift 2 Unleashed on Xbox 360. It is likely that the same list is also valid for the Playstation 3 trophies:
Amateur - Reached Driver Level 5
Badge Earner - Earned 10 Badges
Paparazzi - Shared a photo or replay with others
Recommended - Completed an event recommended by a friend
The Driver's battle - Completed an event purely from helmet cam
Badge Hunter - Earned 50 Badges
Competition License - Won 50 Career events on Medium difficulty or higher
Cub Scout - Won your first Event Set badge
Dialled In - Used On-Track Tuning to save a Tuning Setup for a car
Elitist - Placed 1st in an event using Elite handling model
Grass Roots - Completed JR's Grass Roots event
I'm Going To Hollywood! - Got through the Qualifying round in the Driver Duel Championship

A potential complete tracklist of Shift 2 Unleashed was published at the Gamerzines Blog. The list isn't official, but if it is true, there will be over 80 racetracks in the game.

| NFS World Patch 5.12 |

 Yesterday a new patch for Need for Speed World was deployed, which brings the game to version 5.12. One of the biggest changes is the Audi TT RS Coupé, which made it into the game as a strong tier 2 car. The TT RS will be available for rental from the in-game Car Dealer.
Here are the Release Notes of the patch v5.12:
New Features:
- The Audi TT RS Coupé has been added to the game and is available for rental with SpeedBoost
- An all new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (NFSW Limited Edition) is now available as a free bonus when you purchase 17,500 SpeedBoost
- The Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec [R34] is now available for purchase with cash from the Car Dealer (previously available exclusively for SpeedBoost)
- The ‘Underground 2’ Nissan 350Z [Z33] is now available for purchase with SpeedBoost from the Car Dealer (previously available for Rental)
Bug Fixes/Changes:
- Fixed an issue in the Game Launcher that prevented the game files from being updated correctly
- Fixed an issue that caused the Rep Amplifier to display an incorrect amount for time remaining after purchasing a Cash Amplifier
- The Dodge Viper emblem will no longer disappear when applying visual packages to the car
- The Lexus IS-F ‘Beauty’ and the Chevrolet Corvette ‘The Beast’ will now appear to have neon lighting while previewing in the Car Dealer
- Fixed an issue that caused Powerup Card Packs with a quantity of x40, to not display a quantity
- Fixed an issue that allowed articles to be draggable in the News Feed
- Fixed an issue that caused vinyls to appear skewed on the BMW Z4 M Coupe

| Shift 2 Unleashed: Your Rivals |

During the career of Shift 2 Unleashed you will happen to see yourself challenged by some top race drivers, through every racing discipline. You'll need to give your best to beat these rivals
In both Drift and Muscle sections you will have to face 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr., as reported earlier.
He'll be trying his best to make sure you don't pass him on the track or top him in the many epic drift battles you're sure to have. Defeating JR will require an extremely high level of precision on the track in both disciplines, so if you're not bringing your A-game, it's probably best to sit on the bench.
If you're able to topple JR, you can win each of his cars: the Monster Energy/ Falken Tire Ford Mustang GT he uses during his Formula Drift season, and our personal favorite: the Team Need for Speed Ford Mustang RTR-X, designed by Andy Blackmore. Make sure your chinstrap is done up tight and safety harnesses are buckled in securely, because it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Another rival, which we presented together with the Sumo Power Nissan GT-R GT1, is the 2000 FIA GT Champion Jamie Campbell-Walter!
He made his debut in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Winter Series in 1993, taking second place in the championship. Since his debut Jamie has had a very impressive career in the TVR Tuscan Challenge, British GT Championship and the FIA GT Championship.
He will be driving the SUMO POWER Nissan GT-R GT1 and he will be driving it well. He's got a standing offer that if anyone can knock him into second place, they deserve to win the GT-R.

| Shift 2 Unleashed: Rival drives Sumo Power Nissan GT-R GT1 |

Today another car was revealed to be available in Shift 2 Unleashed: the Sumo Power Nissan GT-R GT1!
The background is that during the career in Shift 2 Unleashed you have to challenge several top racedrivers, like the 2010 Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. in Drift and Muscle sections. In the FIA GT1 Championship Series you will meet the FIA GT Champion of 2000 Jamie Campbell-Walter, who drives the 600 HP monster SUMO POWER Nissan GT-R GT1. If you beat the rival, you win the car.
Jamie Campbell-Walter made his debut in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Winter Series in 1993, taking second place in the championship. Since his debut Jamie has had a very impressive career in the TVR Tuscan Challenge, British GT Championship and the FIA GT Championship.
