| NFS Hot Pursuit - Valet Parking |

 What is the most frustrating job in the world? For the NFS Team it has to be being a valet: If you're a Need for Speed fan, then being a valet at a prestigious hotel would have to rank pretty high. Imagine getting to sit in the driver's seat of some of the most beautiful cars in the world only to park them tens of meters away from your valet station. The speedometer would spike at a mean 5mph. Well, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara are realizing this dream, or should I say nightmare. Luckily for them, they get to play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which allows them to quench their need for speed by competing against each other in some of the hottest cars in the world.

| Statement regarding the NFS Hot Pursuit PC-Demo |

This week the demo of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit was released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately, there was no demo for PC-users.
Now NFSDrew, the EA Community Manager, posted a statement at the official EA forums:
In an effort to ensure that NFS Hot Pursuit reaches the highest level of quality we were unable to take resources away from development of the full version of the game and produce a PC demo. Unlike Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, PC demos require comparatively more resources in order to ensure that they run smoothly across a wide variety of systems. Rest assured though, PC gamers will see the level of quality we were able to achieve with the full version of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and we are confident that the PC community will love the game. Thank you for your understanding.

| NFS World: New Regions and Races announced |

 With the next update the world of Need for Speed World is being extended by three new regions. Some classic Need for Speed territories make their return: Rockport, Fortuna und Kempton!
The new regions got shaped up and the dev team added more details. Together with the three new regions, there will be 25 new races spread across new Sprint and Circuit events.

| NFS World: Halloween Community Event |

Halloween is coming near and EA announced the Need for Speed World Halloween Community Event! Similar to the Oktoberfest the world will be dressed up in a Haloween-Theme. Additionally you get the chance to win a Nvidia GeForce GT 240 (1 GB), if you race the best time on the new event Ghostwood
The NFS World Halloweeen Community Event starts at 9am (PST) October 29th and ends at 9am (PST) November 1st. The participation at the challenge ends a bit earlier at 11:59pm (PST) October 31st.

| NFS Hot Pursuit Demo is coming! |

The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Demo will be available tomorrow on October 26th, 2010 in the PSN Store and Xbox Marketplace. Only the PSN Store Europe will have to wait one day longer - the demo will be released there on October 27th.
Unfortunately, there is no NFS Hot Pursuit demo for PC planned!
In the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit demo, players will be able to chase as a cop in the Dark Horse Hot Pursuit event, speeding through the coastal highway and mountainous ridges of Seacrest County. At the heart of the demo is a social network called Autolog that tracks cop and racer performances while playing solo and uses those statistics to generate fierce competition between friends. Once players add a friend to their Need for Speed friends list, the second event will unlock called Roadster’s Reborn, where gamers can compete as racers to set the best times. When they download and play the demo they will also earn 500 bounty award points in the full game for both Cop and Racer careers**. Accruing bounty will allow players to unlock events and exotic cars and progress through their careers in the full game.
The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit demo will be available for download October 26 on Xbox LIVE™ Marketplace worldwide and the PlayStation®Network in North America and on October 27 on the PlayStation Network in Europe. The retail game will be available on November 16 in North America and on November 18 and 19 in Europe on the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC.
